What a month actually looks like
The first few days are logistics: getting settled, learning the closest grocery store, figuring out the metro. By week two, it starts to feel less like travel and more like living somewhere, with a rhythm to the days that a hotel never quite allows.

What to check before booking
A few things worth confirming before you commit to a place for a month or more:
Whether utilities, wifi, and cleaning are included in the quoted price, or added separately. Whether the lease is set up for a company to invoice directly, if that matters for your situation. What the cancellation terms are, in case plans shift. And whether the wifi is actually fast enough for daily video calls, not just advertised as such.
